This is a completely custom built boardtracker. I based it off of the original B91 wraith by Confederate Cycles. The one that was on the cover of Robb Report. I did not have a v twin engine to use at the time so I built it around a racing engine i had. The engine started life as an NX650. I had the crank trued, welded, and balanced with a Carrillo H-beam rod. It has a 700cc J&E forged piston kit. A Megacycle roadrace cam. Aftermarket springs &retainers. The head was professionally ported by Jeff Reel, of Reel Race Engines. It breathes through a Screamin Eagle 42mm Mikuni flatslide. The throttle response on this bike is amazing. It's hard to believe this thing is a single the way it pulls. It's very strong! The chassis is very similar to the B91 with my own tweaks that were nessesary for this engine layout. It's all mandrel bent tubing thats tig welded. I cosmetically smoothed the welds for a seamless appearance. The engine is dry sump so I used the downtubes for the oil reservoir, the same way Honda did, so there would'nt be any oiling issues. The girders were cut by hand with a jigsaw, No Bullshit. I tig welded the tubes in for rigidity and style. The a-arms are 4130 aircraft tubing and are tig welded. I left those welds because it just looked cool for a suspension piece. Nothing on this bike, other than engine mods, was done at a machine shop. It is truly Handbuilt. The under engine fuelcell is aluminum that started out as Halfround sign frame material that I had lying around. It was completely tig welded and smoothed. The silver covers up top hide the battery and voltage regulator. They were shaped from low density foam then glassed. I used the leather snaps to keep it retro. From day one the idea was to keep this bike unique. Not like the million choppers that from a distance all look the same. I wanted some aspects vintage like the lighting and overall style, but other things like rims and suspenion modern. Kickstarting it wasnt so bad, but I decided that might be taking the retro thing too far for some people so I put a starter back on it. Its very turn key and a blast to ride. My saturday morning rides to starbucks are truly a toss up between the bike and my replica 427 cobra. It gets that much attention. I'll be adding some videos of it in action so everyone can appreciate its diminutive stature next to a person. This bike represents 2 years of my life so i'm starting the bid high for a single cylinder machine. The reserve will be very reasonable for a bike with this many hours in it. The winning bidder will receive a new 17 digit VIN. I get a very good discount with Fedex Freight, so shipping wont be very high anywhere in the US. Feel free to ask any questions and good luck bidding.
